continuously denied transfer without sound or penologically sufficient reason, in
accordance with the rules for the step down program. It is important for you to join
this campaign seeking transfer for Larry Hoover to a less secure facility because
to do otherwise would be to continuously violate the policy of the program and
undermine the fairness upon which the program was premised.

"I have been hearing a lot of talk about the
Rick Ross song, using my Father's (Larry
Hoover's) name... and word was, that it
was beef. Chicago was wanting to know
who gave him (Rick Ross) the go-ahead,
because he (Rick Ross) isn't even from
here and doesn't know Larry Hoover. A lot
of people in Chicago and elsewhere, have
love for Larry Hoover and by right, they
wanted to make sure he(Rick Ross)
cleared this with somebody. He also used
the name with whipping work (preparing
drugs for sale & distribution). I made
contact with Rick Ross while he was in
town and I let him know that I didn't like
how he used the name, and that Larry
Hoover is a political prisoner and should
be remembered for his Movements; "21st
CENTURY VOTE" and "UNITED IN
PEACE,"encouraging young men and
women to go to school and respect each
other. Rick Ross told me that he
understood and remembered when my
Father (Larry Hoover)spoke, on the Ghetto
Boys CD. He said that he respects him
and is willing to do what hecan to help
keep the Movement alive, and the name
